Install from this website.
Download the APK on your Android phone and open it from Downloads. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser or file manager you used. Turn that permission off again after installation. Keep Android’s security checks enabled.
This edition installs alongside the earlier Demo. Purchase activation is available in the Direct edition downloaded here. It is verified offline; the app does not receive card details.
For later updates, choose Updates inside Shield. Older releases download the latest official APK through your browser; the current release shows that you’re up to date. Open the downloaded APK and install over this Direct app to keep activation and history. Uninstalling creates a new activation ID.
Scan with the screen off.
Start a scan and allow Shield notifications. You can lock your phone or use other apps while it runs. Tap the progress notification to return, or use its Stop scan button to save partial results. Reopen findings from the home screen or scan history.
Android’s battery restrictions or a force stop can interrupt a scan. Scans have a two-hour battery limit. If your phone still stops background scans, review Shield’s app battery settings.
Before you buy.
Shield fully reads shared files and confirms exact SHA-256 fingerprints offline against 9,341 source-labelled ESET and Échap sample records. Confirmed matches identify published bytes; they do not prove execution or active infection. The broader Bloom screening layer can produce false positives: those hits stay unconfirmed, with file deletion unavailable. Empty files and the verified two-byte text marker are excluded from threat warnings. Other small files remain checked. Repeated file fingerprints are grouped with every path available to review. Permission warnings remain separate and do not prove malware.
Android limits access to other apps’ private data. New or changed malware may be missed. The score describes scan and protection settings; it is not a detection percentage or a guarantee that your phone is safe.
Full has no recurring charge. This licence is tied to one installation. Keep the receipt and code; contact the seller for a replacement code if you reinstall or change phones. Signed .rsu files are manually downloaded and imported to update the Bloom screening layer. The exact index refreshes with APK releases. No update frequency is promised.

A click does not confirm payment. The seller receives your email, activation ID, PayPal transaction reference and payment record, and uses them for your receipt, activation and support.
