THREE STEPS IN SAFARI

Add The Crow to your Home Screen.

  1. Open Safari

    Open this page in Safari on your iPhone or iPad. If you are inside another app, use its menu to open the link in Safari.

  2. Tap Share

    Look for the square with an upward arrow. Depending on your Safari layout, Share may be inside the page menu.

  3. Add to Home Screen

    Choose Add to Home Screen. If Open as Web App appears, leave it on. Confirm with Add, then launch The Crow from its new icon.

Missing the option? Check Edit Actions at the bottom of the Share menu.

Your same newsroom.

Read the news, switch between English and Spanish, save stories and submit your own reporting. Use your existing email and password if asked to sign in.

Accounts and published stories are shared with the website and Android. Contributions go through editorial review.

Let the crow tell you.

After installing, open The Crow from your Home Screen. In Story alerts, tap Enable new story alerts and allow notifications. Background alerts require iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or newer.

You can preview the crow caw with the app open. iPhone controls background notification sounds.
